Overview: Kabuki is a comic book series created by artist and writer David Mack, first published in 1994 by Caliber comics. It is a story of an assassin who struggles with her identity in near-future Japan. The series has been collected into several trade paperbacks, which include several one-shots and spin-off limited series.
Set in an alternate near-future Japan, a young woman codenamed Kabuki, acts as an agent and television law-enforcement personality for a clandestine government body known as the Noh. The nature and background of the Noh, as well as Kabuki’s origins are revealed as the story progresses.
