Journey through Yggdrasil is about a Viking woman whose curiosity intrigues her into travelling through the world tree. Astrid (the main character) is determined to find a young slave girl whom she saved from a slave trader named Jorgen. Astrid believes Etain (the slave girl) ran away and entered another world to find answers about who she truly is. Soon Astrid realises that the start of her journey never really had anything to do with Etain. Her travels take her on a journey of truth and self discovery.
