Overview: I’ve often been asked why I decided to publish my first works in the Zombie genre and why in the journal format where everything is written in first person perspective, past tense (mainly). I usually answer in a rather long explanation that often gets sidetracked, but here it is: I started out writing some fan fiction on the Project Zomboid forums using some of my previously started but never finished scrawling and people enjoyed it. After a couple of months I saw that I had written the equivalent of half a standard novel and hadn’t even scratched the surface of the story that I had intended to write. After 89,000 words or so, I decided to bundle up the stories and called them "Journals of the Damned". Now that Volume 2 is finished after yet another ninety thousand words or so, I published it also. Hopefully, after I write Volume 3, I will have finally told the whole story. So far this story, that is stuck in my head, has taken me over a year to write out…and I have still more to write. I have found that journal style writing is very different from standard novel style. The style of writing can be extremely limiting and restrictive, but it has definitely made me a better writer. (I think you can see some progression in comparing Volume 1 with Volume 2, in all honesty). I actually feel as if the story chose me to write it and not the other way around…as odd as that sounds.

Book 1
When the genetically engineered single celled parasite Toxoplasmosa Mondus Omni is released upon the world, nothing will ever be the same again. Book 2
Included within are three more journals recovered from the Apocalypse of the Dead. The first Journal continues the Apocalypse in the viewpoint of a teen, constantly struggling to survive. The second of the journals contains the last words of a Doctor who spent his dying days researching the repulsive parasite controlled cadavers. The last of the diaries was written by a madman and it details his descent into the single celled menace’s insane and violent influence.
