Overview: Katelyn Beckett is the kind of woman who likes her coffee black, her stories dark, and her heroines strong. When not writing, she’s usually busy adding to an endless pile of knowledge such as exactly how much force a couch can withstand and how to break out of cable ties.
Genre: Romance
1. Run from the Moon – On our first date, he stood me up. When I gave him a second chance, he nearly killed me.
Davey Cartwright and I grew up together and I’d spent most of high school dreaming of running my fingers through his dark curls. When I finally got my chance to go out with him, he didn’t bother to show up.
I never forgave him for breaking my heart. He disappeared from school shortly thereafter, shattering me completely.
After dropping out of college, I’m back in my hometown, and wouldn’t you know it? Davey turns up on a dating app. He’s a perfect match, of course. I want vengeance, so I bribe him with dinner and drinks.
This time, he shows up. Except now he’s a monster and his sights are set on me.
It wasn’t bad enough to leave me ripped to shreds, alone on the street. Now, Davey and his whole pack of shifters are running me down, convinced I’m destined to be their alpha queen.
They can go straight to hell.
2. Sing to the Stars – If I run, they can’t find me.
My inner wolf screams to be reunited with my pack, but I can’t promise myself to them or anyone else. This is all too much for me and I’m in too deep. Mom keeps calling me but how do I return her calls when she can’t know what’s going on in my real life?
College has accepted me back with open arms despite the fact that I cheated on a test, but I recognize the scent of a Guardian hunting me through the halls. He knows where I am, he knows what I am, and what happens when there’s nowhere left to run? We still don’t know why a bunch of jumped-up anti-shifter murderers are gathering werewolves, but it can’t be for anything good.
Besides that, T, Calvin, Eriq, and Davey are right on my tail. My heart belongs to them, but my mind says they’re barking up the wrong tree. How am I going to keep them away for their own good and my own?
