Overview: Kudos to Moonstone and the creative team behind this noir mini-masterpiece. This handily captures the classic radio character and the style of detective fiction that slowly faded away after the fifties. Even if you’re too young to remember radio shows and never bothered to listen to Old Time Radio for free online or sample the thousands of hours of classic shows on CD (hint, hint), anyone who loves old Bogart or Dick Powell detective films will immediately recognize the style and sophistication of JOHNNY DOLLAR. The only tragedy is that this is a one-shot. So thank you to Moonstone for delivering the goods. This was a real treat.
