Overview: Jay Caselberg is an Australian science fiction/mystery/fantasy fiction/horror/ author. As of January, 2012, he has published six novels and multiple short stories under his own name (one novel as J.A. Caselberg). He has also written under the pseudonym James A. Hartley. All of the books published in his first science fiction series feature "psychic investigator" Jack Stein, a man whose slight psychic talent (which manifests in dreams and gut feelings) led him from a job in the military to a stint in Intelligence, and later to a job as a private investigator. His next novel was a science fiction retelling of King Lear. A YA Fantasy came out in 2012 under the name J.A. Caselberg. His latest novel, due August 2013 Empties is again under the name Jay Caselberg, billed as a brutal novel of psychological horror.

Book 1 – Wyrmhole: Jack Stein lives and works in the crowded, semi-organic city known as the Locality. He’s hired by the Outreach Mining Company to investigate the mysterious disappearance of one of its mining crews on an uncolonized planet. Book 3 – The Star Tablet: Jack’s sixteen-year-old ward Billie has vanished somewhere in the metropolis of Balance City. His search for her brings him to the attention of a corrupt millionaire, the fanatical Sons of Utrecht, and an alien conspiracy that may alter the future of humanity.
Book 4 – Wall of Mirrors: Linked to an advanced alien culture through his dreams, Jack has fallen into the hands of Outreach Industries-whose agents will stop at nothing to tap into that link. But if Jack can’t decipher what the aliens have been communicating to him, the entire human race may be in jeopardy.
