Requirements: MOBI Reader, 7.5 MB
Overview: Robert D. Jones’ great great grandparents crossed the plains in a covered wagon on the Immigrant Trail. Coming from pioneer stock, as they say, he was born in Roosevelt, Utah, a town in dispute as Indian ground. At thirteen, his father put him on a bus for a 400 mile journey to work on a cattle ranch for the summer. Working horseback in the shadow of an Indian burial ground near the Medicine Lodge River, the romance and saga of the West was etched into his mind never to leave.

The Black Witch (#1)
The Black Witch has returned and she is whispering for Isolde…
Isolde dreams of heroic deeds and yearns to live the life of a shield-maiden. However, in the sleepy town of Eyndale, those dreams may as well be dead. She envies the stories of her long-deceased mother and wishes that her father might see her for the grown woman she has become.

When the wanderer Skaldi turns up at her doorstep, he brings horrific news. The animals have been rotting in the fields and the barbaric armies of Ravenscar are flooding down from the north. Something dark is being whispered on the wind. It hisses and laughs as it seeps down through the ancient forest. The Black Witch has returned and she is calling out to Isolde.
With no other choice, Isolde must put her trust into the mysterious Skaldi and chance the foreboding woods. But they soon find themselves being hunted when ancient curses come back to life. Isolde is plunged into her worst nightmare, but this is only the beginning.

Ravenscar (#2)
Isolde is trapped in a web of deadly lies and wicked deceit. She is haunted by waking nightmares. Hunted by evil men. And destined for death.

When she set out to kill The Black Witch, Isolde discovered that some monsters are only pawns in a much bigger game. Now there are only questions, and the only place she can find them is from the one place she is forbidden to go. The forsaken city of Ravenscar. All she knows is that her body is rotting, Ravenscar holds the answers, and she is running from the one person she should be with. But when she discovers the truth, nothing will be the same.

The Blind Seer (#3)
Isolde is lost in a whirlwind of chaos that is centered on her.

Questions & answers… what is the price for truth? When she escaped from Ravenscar, Isolde thought the worst was behind her. Orlog was silenced and the High-King had been put down. But not all is at it seems, and old enemies don’t die without a fight. Without Orlog haunting her dreams, all has become silent, but it might be the calm before the storm. Her path now leads her to Heroth Nuir, the sacred temple to death, but the Silent Hills lay in the way, and in their misty veil lay the restless dead.
Can Isolde find her way through, and who is the necromancer that is raising the dead?

Land of the Gods (#4)
Do not trust the promises of Gods and Devils…

The isle of Heroth Nuir rises from the sea like the last jagged tooth in an ancient skull. It is the land of the gods, it is Isolde’s destiny. With the scars of her past behind her, Isolde is forced to come to terms with her curse. She is a netherwalker, one who dances between worlds. But not all is so simple, no one told her that dying would be the easy part.
With no other choice, she must push forward and face the demons that have haunted her… but this time, she will be in their world.

The High-King (#5)
Thousands of campfires twinkle in the night like so many fireflies waiting to swarm. It is the High-King’s army, it is the end of the northland, they are the bringers of hell.

The city of Harkham is less than a day’s march away and already the country side is in flames and chains. Isolde and Harald have seen the blood lust and utter chaos brought on by Hrothgar and it must end now. But time is not on their side. They are alone, outnumbered, and in Hrothgar’s sights. With Skaldi coming from the west, Wulfric from the east, and Sigurd from the south, all Isolde and Harald have to do is hold the line until help arrives.
Will it be too little, too late? The High-King is the epic finale to the Isolde Saga.
