Investing During A Recession: The Antiques And Collectibles Market by Greg Nelson
Requirements: .MOBI reader, 100 KB
Overview: I originally wrote this book in the spring of 2009, in response to the mortgage meltdown, the Dow dropping thousands of points within weeks, the 900 billion “stimulus package,” that was rammed through by the President and Congress, and the worst unemployment numbers this nation has seen since the great depression – or maybe ever.
Yes, a lot has happened since spring of 2009, but how much of it has been good? Are you still unemployed? Did you lose your job and your house like I did? Is the stock market still volatile? Have we won the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? Is your money safe in a 401K now? Do you trust our politicians to make wise and prudent decisions with our tax dollars? Are we paying down the national debt?
This book is for anybody who is looking for an alternate method of investing at least some of their hard earned money. The traditional methods are not working anymore and have become very risky. Gold coins, stamps, art, autographs, rare books, classic autos or other “tangibles” are becoming more popular investments as distrust of the “status quo” grows.
