Overview: Hooked on science fiction at an early age, B.D. Stewart became an avid reader of the genre with a passion for futuristic starships. This infatuation led to a degree in Aerospace Engineering with High Honors from the University of Florida. After graduation, he moved to Southern California (that was where all the cool aerospace jobs were at the time) to work on various ballistic missile programs, followed by project design, development, and testing of space-based defense systems.
