Inspector Felix Series (7-9, 11) by R. A. Bentley
Requirements: ePUB / MOBI Reader, 1.7MB
Overview: Greetings, gentle reader. My name is Ralph Bentley, and I live in Dorset, England, where I write (mostly) historical crime novels. Born just after World War II, I grew up in a time having much in common socially and linguistically with the late 1920s and 1930s, a decided advantage when depicting my chosen era. There is a misconception in some quarters that Britain before the war had barely moved on from the Edwardian age, when it was, of course, a remarkably ‘modern’ period, typified by rapid social, political and technological change. I have tried to reflect this in my writing, while keeping a flavour of the times.
The Inspector Felix Mysteries (now eleven of them) vary in shape from farce to thriller but they are traditional in that there is always a murder to solve, with enough clues (I hope) to enable you to have a stab at "whodunit."
