Overview: With a population of 1408, not a lot happens in Steinville, so when Laurie’s boyfriend trades her in for an ‘older’ model, she finds herself the talk of the town. Luckily, she has her cousin Liberty to help her through the pain of the breakup. Which would be great if she also didn’t insist on her leaving her spot on the couch for a Halloween yoga class.
She thought she was ready to go out, to rejoin the living outside of their shared apartment, but that all changes when what she thinks is an All Hallows Eve flash mob, is actually the townsfolk turning into flesh-eating zombies.
Surrounded, weaponless, and clueless as to what to do next, Laurie finds herself in the capable hands of Insidious Nightmares, metal band and a group of misfits who know how to handle more than just a weapon.
Together, they’ll fight for their lives, but at the end of the day, there’s nothing that they can’t conquer with a little blood, sweat, and rock and roll. Even the undead is a slave to a good beat.
