#3 – When Do Fish Sleep? (1989)
Ponder, if you will … Why are tennis balls fuzzy? How come birds don’t tip over when they sleep on telephone wires? What makes yawning contagious? Why, oh why, do roosters have to crow so early in the morning?

#4 (PDF only) – Why Do Dogs Have Wet Noses?: And Other Inponderables of Everyday Life (1990)
"Why Dogs Have Wet Noses? And Other Imponderables" has been around for nearly twenty years but it hasn’t lost its charm. David Feldman answers some questions I’ve been wondering about for years. Like "Why do foreign pop and rock performers sing with an American accent?" Or have you ever wondered why peaches are fuzzy? Then there is the question of the missing socks. My own take on socks is that they get caught inside other clothes and are rediscovered later, however I do have some socks that have never reappeared. Where did they go? This book gives some insight into question like this and most of them are fun and enjoyable to read.

#5 – Do Penguins Have Knees? (1991)
Ponder, if you will, What happens to your Social Security number when you die? Why are peanuts listed as an ingredient in plain M&Ms? Why is Barbie’s hair made out of nylon, but Ken’s hair is plastic? What makes up the ever-mysterious "new-car smell"?

#6 – Are Lobsters Ambidextrous? (2005) (formerly published as When Did Wild Poodles Roam the Earth?)
Ponder, if you will … Has anyone ever seen a live Cornish game hen? Why do quarterbacks say "Hut"? Why do "sea" gulls congregate in parking lots of shopping centers? What does the "Q" in Q-Tips stand for?

#7 – How Does Aspirin Find a Headache? (1993)
Ponder, if you will … Do snakes sneeze? Why didn’t the three musketeers carry muskets? What happens to the holes that are punched out of looseleaf paper? Why don’t people smile in old photos?

#10 – Do Elephants Jump? (2004)
Every day, we are confronted with innumerable small mysteries that puzzle and confound. Why do pianos have 88 keys? Why is peanut butter sticky? And do elephants jump? Now David Feldman returns with his tenth ImponderablesĀ® book to answer these and 100 other perplexing questions about food, popular culture, the human body, science, and more. Like the other books in the ImponderablesĀ® series, Do Elephants Jump? answers questions sent in by Dave’s vast, and inquisitive, readership. For the painstakingly researched answers, Dave turns to his national network of experts in everything from fishing to astronomy to plastics, not to mention his millions and millions of readers who are eager to supply him with tidbits about even the most obscure phenomena. And since it’s presented with Dave’s trademark humor, you will be learning and laughing in equal measure.

#11 – Why Do Pirates Love Parrots? (2006)
Ponder, if you will . . . Is yawning contagious? Do starfish have faces? Why do they put crinkly paper into pairs of men’s socks? Why is it that cans of Diet Coke float, but cans of regular Coke don’t?

#12 – Fun and Games (2009)
n gathering the most fascinating questions asked about sports and entertainment into a handy Gem format, pop culture guru David Feldman demystifies these and much more in "Imponderables(R) Fun and Games." Providing you with information you can’t find in encyclopedias, dictionaries, or almanacs, Fun and Games is a fun look at the little things that make life so interesting.
