Overview: Tyson Cross thought of himself as a worldly professional. He’d traveled across the globe as a pilot for the USAF. His career was on a good track and he was respected by his peers. While his personal life had some turmoil, he was confident he’d untangle those troubles. Yeah, life was good.
Then all hell broke loose.
Events that he could only call magical began to tear the world apart. Strangely targeted attacks started to kill people by the thousands while the infrastructure of the modern world began to fall. Within the span of a single day, the entire world changed.
There had been no warning. There was no explanation. There were only survivors struggling to understand the storm of atrocious attacks that had ripped their lives apart.
Tyson had become one of them. His instincts demanded two things from him: to find those he cared about to ensure they were safe, and to find the source to these attacks and do what he could to defend against them. With societal structures washed away, he had no idea if there was anything left to protect, but he wasn’t going to let himself nor those depending on him die in ignorance.
The challenge would be to stay alive long enough to see it done.
