Those plans go up in smoke and I’m carried through the forest in the dead of night, only to wake in the bed of a stranger. A very delicious stranger who just might just seduce my muse into coming back.
3. Keeping Cadene – ZEKE – I have my Cadence and life is complete. But she’s finished her book, her agent loves it and we’re headed back to NY because that’s what she needs to do. I happily left city life and city entanglements behind. I just hope it’s not where she wants to stay.
CADENCE – My agent is in New York. So is Zeke’s business partner. She was just a ‘friend with benefits’ but I can tell that she wanted – and still wants – more than that. Going back to the mountain is the safest thing, but the city is an inescapable part of my writing future.
