Overview: Two days before Christmas, Adam Knight’s work partner Penny is struck down with food poisoning. To make matters worse their unreasonable boss refuses to give them an extension for an advertising pitch they were meant to complete together.
Leaving Penny to get well, Adam takes on the daunting task himself. To escape his eccentric flatmate, Louisa who insists on playing Christmas carols at full volume while singing out of tune over the top of them, Adam makes a beeline for the next town and a quiet coffee shop.
While there and up to his eyeballs in work he is mistaken as a blind date by the gorgeous Clay Price who turns up dressed as Santa. Adam knows he should correct Clay’s error but finds himself under Clay’s spell which leads to the two having a steamy session with each other in the coffee shop restroom.
When they return Clay’s actual date is waiting for him. He’s furious when he finds out what’s happened and abandons Adam straight away. But what they’ve already shared has set something off that neither can ignore until it’s resolved one way or another even if that means in Santa’s sleigh.
