Overview:
Book 1 : Herald of Shalia 1
A village full of gorgeous elves desperate to be loved? There had to be a catch. Sebastian Frost’s most recent memory was waking up in a field naked, in a body that wasn’t his own, in a world that definitely wasn’t his own, and three stunning pointy-eared women staring right at him. He also remembered hair as white as starlight, eyes like amethysts, and the name Shalia. Fortunately, it was the right name to know. Shalia was the elves’ goddess and that made him her herald. If that wasn’t enough of a blessing, he was in a game world, he was high level, he had hundreds of ability points to spend, and the elves were practically throwing themselves at him. Of course, there was a catch. Shalia, her followers, and now Frost himself were viewed by the world as bringers of misfortune and everybody hated them. Although, to be fair, Frost was going to rain misfortune on anybody who attempted to harm his lovable new followers.
Book 2: Herald of Shalia 2
Sebastian Frost was a man with an interesting reputation. He’d killed twelve giants, eight heroes, a duke, and even a prince. But nobody ever talked about any of that. All they talked about was the deviant, disgusting, detestable, Herald of Shalia that shamelessly laid with elves. That was because in the strange world based on game mechanics Frost found himself in, laying with elves was somehow treated like laying with animals. Naturally, they weren’t calling him Herald Frost the giant killer. Despite his less than dignified reputation, Frost was set to marry Princess Brynn Hilde Leaucault of the neighboring country of Zira. If everything went well, the marriage would earn him an amazingly talented wife and hopefully improve his rocky relationship with the powerful country. Although Zira wasn’t the only country he had to worry about. King Darius Asmund of Rilia requested an audience with Frost and since the man commanded one of the largest armies on the continent, he was inclined to take the meeting. Even if the brutal warlord had a reputation for killing heralds. Frost just wished he knew why the herald killing king was so interested in his own lascivious reputation
Book 3: Herald of Shalia 3
Sebastian Frost’s territory had grown massively as did his reputation.
He was the Herald of Shalia that married a demoness, invited hundreds of Arachne to live in his territory, and married a princess of Zira all in the same week. All while securing peace and trade agreements with the two largest countries on the continent.
Herald Frost wasn’t merely a deviant herald that laid with demihumans. He was a highly capable deviant herald that laid with demihumans. Which was one of the reasons why demihumans were coming from all over to join his territory. His reputation even crossed the ocean and when Cassia, the Prophet of Shalia, heard about Frost, she hopped on the first ship back home to meet the herald.
Book 4: Herald of Shalia 4
Sebastian Frost created a territory where demihumans lived peacefully.
Whether they were a snake-haired gorgon, a colorful slime woman, or a fifteen foot tall Oni, they were free to live peacefully in Pluma Territory. For many of the creatures, living peacefully was something they never dared even dream of so it was only natural that they traveled from all over the continent to reach his territory.
If only the humans would let them.
Sometimes it was guards in a neighboring territory killing them for sport, sometimes it was a village stealing all of their supplies, and sometimes it was slavers attempting to profit. But the humans just had to make things difficult.
Frost decided to make examples of them. It worked. Maybe too well as the Herald of Ziralia could no longer allow Frost to act with impunity.
The man was finally traveling to Blackwater with his two thousand personal guard and it didn’t feel like he was interested in resolving things peacefully.
Book 5: Herald of Shalia 5
Sebastian Frost frequently found himself marrying women he barely knew.
His first wife demanded that he marry her as payment for saving his life, his second tricked him into marrying her, the third he married to secure an alliance, and his fourth was Lysandra. Lysandra was the only woman that Frost chose to marry and she was also the future mother of his child.
He thought that after marrying Lysandra he would be finished marrying women he just met but it seemed he was mistaken.
In the heat of the moment, he made a reckless wager that resulted in him being engaged to Olivia Moray, a noblewoman from the obscenely wealthy Moray family. If he married Olivia, he would have access to her vast fortune. If he didn’t marry her, the Moray family would take it as a grave insult. It was an easy choice to make.
Frost had more important things to deal with, like his agreement with the Goddess Riliandra.
The goddess found her next prophet and per their deal, Frost needed to protect her. The only problem was that the cute demihuman prophet in question was located in Nir, a country that did not welcome visitors and happened to be at war with Rilia.
Frost was going to have to find a way to smuggle himself into the country, find the prophet, and escape. All without getting the attention of the Herald of Niri, a powerful sorceress rumored to be immortal.
