1. The Prince
For Prince Relam of the Sthan Kingdom, being the only heir to the throne is not the life of luxury that most people envision. He is isolated from others by his position, his young life constricted by rules. 2. The Keeper

Few in number, and scattered across remote fortresses, they brace for the fury of the vertaga. The mountains have concealed the vertaga stronghold for generations, but there are other powers in this world too. Older powers, with the potential to change the course of history. Journey with the defenders of the South in their desperate struggle to survive the vertaga onslaught!
3. The Ramshuk
Before the second vertaga war, there was the hunt. A zealous search which started soon after the Sthan victory at Ganned’s Gorge. Following this disgraceful defeat, the Ramshuk – the leader of all vertaga – was exiled for his failure. In the ten years since the first vertaga war the new Ramshuk has never stopped looking for his predecessor, determined to extinguish any chance of the exiled warrior returning to power. Now, as the second war begins, the rules of the hunt have changed. The new war offers opportunities, not only for the Sthan and the current Ramshuk, but for anyone with a grudge against both. Though his resources are scarce, his allies few, and time short, the exiled warrior has this final opportunity for redemption. One last chance to defeat the Sthan, and regain the allegiance of his people. But great opportunities come with great risk: if he fails, there will be nowhere left to hide in the Fells.
4. The Captive
The Keepers have returned! After dealing the vertaga a stunning defeat at the stronghold of Dun Carryl, Khollo and Kanin have returned to Ethgalin, preparing to revitalize the legacy they inherited. On the mainland, King Relam and the Sthan are beginning to rebuild for the future, attempting to put the second vertaga war behind them. But, hidden amongst the Fells, a grief-ravaged Garnuk is striving to reclaim his mantle as leader of all vertaga. Desperate for revenge, mad with pain from his losses, the cunning warrior waits and plots. HE is determined to test the mettle of the new Keepers and the battered Sthan in a final battle, one he will not abandon until either his enemies are dead, or he is.
