It looks like an accident but everything points to Chef Henry as the one who made a fatal mistake and the inn is being threatened with a law suit. Vicky believes that Chef Henry is being framed and with the help of Sarah and Aunt Ida they try to discover the truth.
Was Sandy’s death an accident? Did Chef Henry kill Sandy deliberately? Or is he being framed? Will Aunt Ida and Vicky expose the truth? Or will they just get themselves into hot water?
6. Books, Bullets and Blooms
When Aunt Ida persuades one of her favourite mystery authors, Preston Price, to hold his book launch at the Heavenly Highland Inn she is thrilled. Not only will the launch be held there but Preston has agreed to attend a special meeting with Aunt Ida and her Murder Mystery Book Club on the weekend of the launch.
Vicky and Sarah, co-owners of the inn, are fully occupied organizing the launch weekend and the after-party. This keeps Vicky busy while her gorgeous boyfriend, Mitchell, is working extra shifts as a police officer. She is determined to make the weekend as special as possible for her unconventional Aunt Ida. Aunt Ida is on cloud nine with the impending book launch and her blossoming relationship with her biker boyfriend, Rex.
But then there is a murder at the inn during the weekend of the book launch and the similarities between the murder in Preston’s latest book and the murder at the inn are uncanny. The prime suspect is one of the Murder Mystery Book Club members but the investigation points to other possibilities and as usual Vicky and Aunt Ida cannot wait to discover the truth themselves.

7. A Deadly Serious Gardening Contest:
A popular magazine ‘Garnish your Garden’ has chosen the Heavenly Highland Inn as the venue for their gardening contest. The inn is buzzing in anticipation of the contest that will be held over the weekend as Sarah and Vicky are in full swing organising the inn for the event. Sarah is trying to get Vicky to set the date of her wedding to charming Detective Mitchell Slate but Vicky is trying to avoid the subject. Meanwhile Aunt Ida is caught up with her new fitness regime which she has ersuaded her biker boyfriend, Rex, to participate in. The gardening contest has a rocky start as the contestants are at loggerheads. Then disaster strikes when one
of the contestants is found dead. Sheriff McDonnell wants the contest to continue because the husband of one of the contestants is very influential in the community.
