Overview: Geordie Ferris was initially just a typical country boy, reared on his family farm. When he went to University to study accountancy, he met Juro Tanaka. Juro was studying British Law.
They formed a friendship and then flatted together, upon which they found more to their friendship than either wanted their parents to know. When Juro was admitted to the legal Practitioners Bar in New Zealand, it was time for him to return to Japan.
Juro was from a highly respected legal family, but he had secrets that once he established himself became more than just interest in the family practice. Several years later Geordie visited Hakata to be reacquainted with his friend. Old flames still burnt between them and slowly grew again. Juro,s father was not well and Juro was slowly taking over control of the practice. However their were issues which opened Geordies eyes. Juro wasn’t now the same person he had known back home. He was involved in things a respected Barrister didn’t normally fall pray to. As things progressed Geordie wondered just what the future may hold if he stayed in Japan. When he met Nyein, many were answered. This Novel is an intriguing trip through peoples freedom and pain, and all which goes with loving someone who isn’t quite what you thought. The story ventures into many issues both new and old and how people can get caught in a world through no fault of their own. Eventually Geordie is placed in positions, in which he has to make far reaching decisions. They affect many people and the lives and countries they live in. When the opportunity is thrust upon Geordie, he endeavours to correct many wrongs. However none of this can compare with the love he eventually finds with Nyein. Man is a creature and an animal lives within, just like the Lion or Tiger, cunning and stealth are the traits to watch for. This novel exposes mans weaknesses and also his strengths.
