2. Holiday Homicide
Hell hath no fury… Like a woman whose holiday plans are ruined by murder. Amateur sleuth, and proud restauranteur, Hannah Cooper, is looking forward to a relaxing Thanksgiving with her family and her best friends. Caroline and Dean Price have been nothing but welcoming to her since she arrived in Shale, West Virginia, and she’s hoping to pay them back for their kindness with the perfect turkey and her famous pumpkin pie. A tragic accidental death in town makes the news, so of course, Dean does some digging and writes an article about the incident for the local paper. He’s not so sure the death was accidental, and he includes some of his speculations in the article, putting him directly in the crosshairs of a killer. Clearly the death was no accident, and the murderer seems poised to do whatever it takes to cover his tracks. Dean’s life may hang in the balance, along with Hannah’s hopes of a perfect Thanksgiving, so our heroine jumps right in to solve the crime. Will she be able to identify the killer in time to save her friend?

3. Seriously Serial
Some say that there’s no such thing as coincidence… And some recognize pattern behavior when they see it. The sleepy town of Shale, West Virginia is the last place anyone would expect to find a serial killer, but that’s precisely what restauranteur, and amateur sleuth, Hannah Cooper, hears from a trusted friend. He confides to her that there’s a murderer in town, and it looks like they’re about to strike again. Hannah wants to help, but without much evidence and with no idea who the next target might be, there isn’t much that she can do. The stakes are raised, however, when one of Hannah’s favorite customers mentions that she feels like someone is watching her, and that every night they seem to come a little bit closer. With the help of her friends, Hannah decides that she has to try to help this woman, but can the three of them survive going up against a seasoned killer?

4. Vicious Valentine
Unrequited love just isn’t romantic. In fact, it can be deadly. Restauranteur, and amateur sleuth, Hannah Cooper, is sympathetic, but somewhat dismissive, when a friend claims to have a stalker. Busy as ever, and utterly distracted by the task of training three new employees for Hawk’s Place, which is expanding for the first time since opening, she forgets about the assertion. Then a dead body shows up on Valentine’s Day. Hannah realizes that her friend’s life is in danger. Apparently, the stalker is willing to kill, if necessary, to get closer to her. Will it be too late by the time they discover that the culprit is much closer than they ever could have guessed?

5. Party Perils
Dinner shouldn’t be served cold… Even if one of the guests is. A fun dinner party at a friend’s house ends in tragedy when one of the guests drops dead in the middle of the meal. Restauranteur and amateur sleuth, Hannah Cooper, and her best friend, Caroline Price, find themselves caught up in the middle of an investigation, and unfortunately for Caroline, she happens to land smack dab in the middle of the suspect pool. With her friend’s reputation at risk, Hannah decides to seek out the culprit herself, but if she’s not careful, the killer might decide to make her his next target. Will she serve up some justice and save the day?

6. Wedding Woes
They say that marriage is bliss… But weddings can be murder. Restauranteur and amateur sleuth, Hannah Cooper has made a seriously bad decision. Agreeing to host her brother’s wedding party is causing her nothing but trouble. She’s running herself ragged trying to juggle operating a successful restaurant while preparing for the upcoming nuptials, and there seems to be no end in sight to the hassles, trials and complications. The preparations take a very dark turn, however, when a member of the wedding party is found murdered. The wedding is put on hold, while the authorities investigate, but this certainly wasn’t the way Hannah wanted to free herself from the extra workload. Her soon-to-be sister-in-law asks her for help determining whether anyone in the wedding party was responsible for the death, and of course, Hannah agrees to do some digging. Something seems fishy, and it isn’t the salmon. Will Hannah save the day and host the wedding? Or will the tragedy cause harm to more than the victim?
