Haunting Danielle Series by Bobbi Holmes (aka Anna J. McIntyre) (Books #5, #7, #8-13, 15-18)
Requirements: ePUB / MOBI Reader, 22.6MB
Overview: I made my public writing debut in the sixth grade, when I wrote our class play. If memory serves me, it was called Love Potion. One thing I do recall, it was a shameful rip off of several popular gothish sitcoms of the era – The Addams Family and The Munsters. My writing continued in middle school, when I decided to write my book report on a fictional book, as opposed to actually reading one. When writing the report, I based the story on my father’s life. I received an A. That was during the pre-internet era, making it much more difficult for a teacher to verify the actual existence of a book.
Genre: Fiction; Mystery
#5 – The Ghost of Halloween Past
Spending Halloween in a haunted house is nothing out of the ordinary for Danielle and Lily. After all, Marlow House Bed & Breakfast has its own full-time ghost. But there is another haunted house in Frederickport, Oregon. Yet, its ghost only shows up on Halloween. Why just once a year? And how is this frightening spirit connected to all that’s happened to Danielle since she arrived in town?
As Danielle tries to sort through the Halloween haunting, Sadie the golden retriever has her own issues—a mysterious black cat who seems even more adept than Sadie at communicating with spirits.
#7 – The Ghost of Valentine Past
A romantic weekend at Marlow House Bed and Breakfast turns deadly when Earthbound Spirits founder, Peter Morris, is murdered. Plenty of people had a reason to want the man dead—especially Danielle’s current guests.
But it isn’t Morris’ ghost distracting Danielle on this deadly Valentine’s Day weekend, it’s her late husband Lucas. She has her hands full with suitors coming from all directions—both living and dead—while she tries to figure out if there’s a killer in Marlow House.
#8 – The Ghost from the Sea
When a shipwreck washes up on a beach across from Marlow House, Frederickport residents wonder what happened to the ship’s crew.
Danielle soon discovers the ship brought a stowaway—a spirit with ties to Frederickport that go back to the 1920s—when Walt was still alive.
#9 – The Ghost and the Mystery Writer
A killer strikes under Frederickport Pier.
Before dawn the next morning, Marlow House’s celebrity guest, mystery author Hillary Hemingway, is busy writing about the crime for her upcoming novel—including details that only the real killer would know.
Coincidence? If so, it isn’t the first time.
#10 – The Ghost and the Muse
Perhaps Danielle’s first clue should have been—Hillary’s muse is male.
He brings with him restless spirits and murders to solve—if Danielle dares.
She has already been warned to stay away.
#11 – The Ghost Who Stayed Home
Left alone at Marlow House with Sadie and Max, Walt expects Danielle and Lily to return by the end of the week. When they don’t, he begins to wonder what happened to them.
The ghost of Marlow House doesn’t scare six-year-old Evan MacDonald. When the child sneaks into the house in the middle of the night, seeking Walt’s help, the resident spirit learns something has happened to Danielle and Lily.
Can a ghost confined to Marlow House and a pint-sized medium bring the people they love home?
#12 – The Ghost and the Leprechaun
Everyone knows leprechauns are just make believe.
But wait, isn’t that what they say about ghosts?
#13 – The Ghost Who Lied
Ian has lived across the street from Marlow House for over a year and has no idea Walt Marlow is his neighbor.
All that is about to change.
(Did I mention—Walt Marlow is a ghost.)
#15 – The Ghost and Little Marie
The family of Adam Nichols show up in Frederickport when Marie ends up in a nursing home with a broken hip.
Yet unlike Adam, who is trying to get his grandmother home, the new arrivals are more concerned with selling off her assets and keeping her in the questionable facility.
While Danielle tries to help her dear friend, she begins wondering, maybe not having a family has its good points after all. And it’s not just Marie’s family causing problems, Walt’s distant cousin begins making his own demands.
#16 – The Ghost and the Doppelganger
They say everyone has a double. Walt’s distant cousin, Clint Marlow, could be his twin.
When the unscrupulous cousin arrives at Marlow House with his fiancée, he conceals his real reason for being there.
But, unknown to Walt—and his cousin—the Universe has its own plans, and none of them will ever again be the same.
#17 – The Ghost of Second Chances
When Clint Marlow’s partner in crime is found murdered in the basement of Marlow House, Clint is the likely suspect. The only problem, Clint is dead. But that doesn’t matter to the FBI agents investigating the case. Clint looks alive to them.
Meanwhile, Danielle’s housemate Walt is coming to terms with his new reality, which is complicated with the FBI underfoot.
Fortunately for Walt, he still has a few paranormal tricks up his sleeve.
#18 – The Ghost Who Dream Hopped
Officer Brian Henderson knows there is something just not right about Walt Marlow, and he’s determined to find out what it is.
Meanwhile, Beverly’s dead husband visits Danielle in a dream hop, telling her about his wife’s part in his death.
Can Danielle convince Brian to stop worrying about Walt and be a little more concerned about his new girlfriend, Beverly?
