Casual gamer Drake Thompson retires early at the age of 35 to enter the fully immersive Battle Empire full time. He’s been grinding levels for years, but is still only mid-level in the adult game. On his first full day in the game, the latest rare and powerful Horn Sword drops, changing all his plans. Finding the epic artefact will help him on his quest to become king. With a bit of help from friends old and new (players and NPCs), he drops everything to find the OP weapon and claim his place as a ruler in the virtual realm. Sounds easy, but there’s a problem. Something him nor any of the other players imagined happens. The event changes everything. Was all his hard work grinding for vain? Or will he find a way to save them all?
