It continues to showcase Zoi’ and Keisha’s deep love and affection for one another even though they are now separated. Zoi’ and AJ, (Keisha’s sister) who are best friends, but fail out because Zoi’ had an affair with Keisha without AJ’s knowledge makes amends just in time to comfort Keisha after she is brutally sexually abused by her drug addled, but politically connected and rich girlfriend “Kinnock", aka Shannon Payne. The title of the opening episode “Joy and Pain” (by Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly) shows exactly how easy it is to experience both feelings at the same time while involved in a relationship with that special someone whom you love.
Girls Like Us! Season 3: In Girls Like Us! Season 3, Zoi’ and Keisha are preparing to finally say "I do" at their lakeside home in Hyde Park on the South Side of Chicago. Meanwhile, Zoi’s best friend (and Keisha’s sister) AJ gets caught cheating on her pregnant wife of ten years, Diane – and all that COULD go wrong DOES go wrong!
This is just another hysterical season of the ups and downs in the lives of two fine-ass best friends by the name of Zoi’ and AJ, who just happen to be lesbians! Go figure!
