Overview: Remy Devereaux – I was born and raised a southern boy and studied at a small private Baptist College in Northwest Georgia. Finally, rebelling against all I was taught regarding religion from that fine institution, I blew the closet doors off, coming out at the rather late age of 23, and my writing often has a touch of reality mixed in with the fantasy. Of course the names have been changed to protect the not so innocent when the story involves an actual event!
Having the chance to work with my co-author and longtime friend, Shannon West, is one of my favorite things about writing. Shannon and I go back a very long time and our combined experiences and slightly twisted personalities combine to make our stories sizzle.

Georgia Heat #1: Thieves have been operating a huge car theft ring in a small Georgia town, crossing county lines. Atlanta detective Mark Bradley comes down to investigate. On his first night in town he runs into an old flame he’s never forgotten. Mark met Jake a few years before, and they shared a night of wild passion. There was only one problem—Mark was married. Jake is young, tough and has a giant chip on his shoulder when it comes to Mark’s betrayal, and Mark has a lot of explaining to do to obtain his forgiveness. When Mark discovers Jake has a connection to the theft ring, things get even more complicated. Mark has to solve the case before Jake gets in way too deep.
Hot on His Trail #2: Mark and Jake have broken up after a silly fight, and both are too stubborn to work things out. When Jake witnesses a violent murder, and is arrested by the police as a material witness, Mark sends a friend to bail him out right away, but when Jake takes off on his own in a cross country odyssey to find the real killers, Mark sets out after him. He intends to bring Jake home before he can get into any more trouble, but Jake turns the tables on him and leaves him naked and cuffed to a bed in an Oklahoma motel. Furious and spoiling for revenge, Mark tracks him down and the confrontation that follows just might change the nature of their relationship forever.
