Overview: Geopolitics’ November 2017 issue deals with coastal security. It has been almost ten years since the November 26, 2008 Mumbai attack by terrorists and the positive fallout of the attacks has been that it has brought the importance of maritime security and coastal security to the forefront and into the consciousness of the Indian security establishment and political leadership. Geopolitics traces the manner in which the government has been tightening the vigil along India’s long coastline.
