Overview: Having lived to the ripe old age of ninety-four, Rho finds himself reborn as a genetically engineered super soldier (G.E.S.S.). Eighteen years later, he is killed in battle during a war that annihilates all complex life forms on the planet. As the only Gess preserved well enough to avoid decomposition, Rho is tasked with a quest to teach the system to all the evolving species. The daunting and seemingly impossible task is hampered further as the races have yet to evolve to where they have developed a language.
Unable to refuse the system given quest, Rho finds he has an ally in his task, a green-eyed, raven-haired beauty called Tabby, or ‘the system’ as she used to be known. Together, they set about their first part of the quest and head towards the nearest race—the elves.
