Futa Apocalypse 1: Under the Shade
Their world had been ravaged by nuclear weapons and mutagenic viruses, but Mara and her mother survived under the Shade: a dark cloud cover constantly hovering over part of their world. It all changed when the older woman died and she was forced to venture outside the lands bathed by the Shade, and she found out she wasn’t the only one out there.
But Mara has a secret, and if she’s not careful she won’t survive all the dangers she’ll face under the blue skies and the light of the sun. Under the Shade is the first book in the Futa Apocalypse series.
Futa Apocalypse 2: Undertown
Mara is starting to settle into her new life with Kathryn, but there’s something bothering her. The people around her seem content with their lot, and they’re not doing anything to prepare for the future or protect themselves should they need to. They could try to expand Undertown, they could try to find other survivors like her, but they don’t.
Even Emma doesn’t think there’s anything they can do, and Mara starts becoming frustrated. It changes when she finds out Madelyn knew her mother and father, and once she discovers everything the other woman knows about her.
Madelyn’s revelations aren’t the only thing rocking Mara’s world however, and soon the whole of Undertown will face a scare that will force them to change.
Futa Apocalypse 3: Wastelands
The news of Kathryn’s pregnancy spread through Undertown and everything changed. They wouldn’t be the last humans to live, and more than ever their community needed to open itself to the outside world.
It was with that in mind that they organized an expedition into the Wastelands, dominated by the Reapers, in hope of finding more humans like them, other survivors from the collapse. They couldn’t have expected to find what they did though, and they would realize not only weren’t they alone out there, but the Reapers were a far graver threat than they imagined.
Futa Apocalypse 4: Second Chances
A second chance. That was what Undertown represented to Mara: it was her chance to have a family, friends, and to find love.
Undertown was where she found her happiness, but she wasn’t the only one that deserved a second chance, and what if giving others a second chance, giving Humanity a second chance, would mean compromising her happiness? Could she let go of all she had dreamed of for others?
Futa Apocalypse 5: Revelations
Mara was hoping for a time out, to find some peace away from Undertown. Eve and Sonia followed her on her expedition, and her heart almost broke at having to leave Kathryn and Emma behind, but she needed it. She needed a time away from all those that would use her, and she wanted to discover more about whoever was hunting the reapers.
She wanted a revelation, but she would find more than she expected, both about herself and those around her, and about the reapers and those hunting them. And some of these revelations she wouldn’t enjoy at all.
