You may remember the names June and Free from the series Insane 4 U. They were briefly mentioned, and with their quick introduction, we could all take a wild guess and realize that the two of them had the ability to put the T in toxic. June is Insane’s big brother, and now it’s his turn to have his own story.
June and Free have had this situationship going on for a few years now, and while some may admire their relationship, others will agree that it’s toxic and draining. They could be good for each other, but for some reason, they just can’t get it right. Free’s a good woman who deserves to be treated fairly by a good man, so what June won’t do, another man will.
Next, there’s Fanatic Brown. Fanatic is June’s best friend/ brother, and he’s just come home from serving a ten-year prison bid. Now that Fanatic is home, he and June have a plan to shake things up in the streets and run the biggest drug operation that’s ever come out of Miami. The two of them share a beautiful friendship, but Fanatic is hiding something from June that if it were to come out, it might not be forgivable.

The title of this book is ‘Free Me From You’, but does Free really want to be freed from June? The two of them have history. A bunch of ups and downs, tears, and everyone can agree that a lot of toxicity has taken place as well. Even through the bad, the two of them share a lot of good as well. If they would just put in the work to get it right, they have what it takes to form something beautiful, but both parties will have to want the same result.
Tru has shocked everyone with the extracurricular activities that she has been secretly involved in. Due to her sneakiness and lying, she’s put herself in a tough situation. Her actions have endangered others too, as her family is determined to get her detached from Ricky.
Then, there’s Fanatic. He and June share a beautiful friendship, but their bond is tested, due to Fanatic sneaking around with June’s sister. Can Fanatic’s actions be forgiven, or did he do the unthinkable, and June isn’t willing to forgive?

Since part 1 of this series, we’ve been on an rollercoaster ride with all the characters. There have been so many things happening at once, that it’ll make you question is a happily ever after even possible? June and Free were introduced to us, and they both played their part in why the relationship had so many shortcomings. So many opportunities presented themselves for both of them to walk away, but through it all, they stayed, and they are finally in a place where they could possibly get it right.
Free already knows what it feels like to lose a sister, and she’s hoping that she doesn’t have to experience that hurt again with Dionne. Life has already been rough for her this past year, so losing Dionne is the last thing that she needs right now.
Come take one last ride with the crew, and let’s see what they’re up to one last time. So many things need closure, enemies need to disappear, and we have to see June and Free get it right, especially after all that they’ve been through.
