This is the seediest part of Los Angeles, with a protagonist hero who pulls out most of the stops to save his skin. Written as fiction noir, It is a mix of Lesley Neilson’s character "Frank Drebbin" and Clooney and Pitt’s "Oceans 11." You will laugh, you will re-read some of the great lines, and you will fall into the story. Terrific, fun book.
