#1. Severe Risk:
On the eve of the biggest storm in west coast history, virologist Fara McManus shows up at work in a secret government lab where microbiologist Dr. Jeremy Corcoran has been working on a new bioweapon, using the homeless as human guinea pigs. Concerned for the subjects, Fara decides to stay. Especially now. Between the raging storm outside and the rage-inducing chemicals in the patients, a million things could go wrong. But the last thing Fara expects to happen is an armed attack on the lab, an explosion of gunfire, and an army of men smashing the barriers. Releasing the infected. Spreading the virus…into the world. On a night like this, there is no shelter from the storm.
#2. Hurricane Quentin:
With the storm of the century tearing up the northern California coast, internet blogger and conspiracy expert Ivan Renner has other things on his mind-namely, uncovering the mystery behind an abandoned hospital used as a government lab. Joining him on his investigation is military veteran and survivalist Ollie Monk. While Ivan follows leads about missing homeless people to confirm his theory about secret biological experiments, Ollie follows his gut. With his own trained platoon of armed mercenaries, Ollie is prepared to ambush the laboratory just as the storm hits. But when the fateful moment arrives-and the bullets begin to fly-their surprise attack backfires in ways not even they could prepare for. It unleashes the test subjects. It spreads the virus. It seals their fate…forever. This time, there’s no fighting back. The conspiracy theories are true.
#3. Category 8:
Even with a massive storm front threatening to devastate the California coast, Latrice Innes has no choice but to deliver a package to an address in Humbolt County. She has no idea what’s in it but, considering she’ll be paid two-thousand dollars for the delivery, it’s probably illegal. As a jobless single mother, she’ll do whatever it takes to get the money. But when she arrives at the home of her contact-and the lights go out in the storm-Latrice finds herself facing a much deadlier threat. An elderly man is waiting, biting and scratching like a deranged maniac. He’s a test subject who escaped from a government lab. He’s infected with a virus that’s turned him into a raging biological weapon. And now Latrice is infected, too…
#4. Deranged:
Andy is more than a little worried when his ex-wife-a former drug addict who has custody of their son-is seen hanging around with her old crowd. But when he learns that her dealer has moved in with them, Andy has no choice but to take action. He finds an unlikely ally in Police Deputy Ram von Pohle-a local bully who tormented Andy in school. Ram swears he wants to make up for those years of abuse. He convinces Andy that the raging storm is the perfect opportunity to break in to his ex-wife’s home and save Andy’s boy. But when the weather reaches a fever pitch, their simple plan backfires. The night quickly escalates into a bloodbath. Ram explodes with rage, bodies are torn apart by bullets, and Andy and his son find themselves trapped inside a nightmare…with a deranged sadist. When the storm hits this close to home, no one is safe. And no one gets out alive…
#5. Chaos Theory:
If anyone knows where the bodies are buried in Humboldt County, it’s Sheriff Mitch Kaufman, who’s seen it all: The meth lab operated by the Traylor family; the arsenal of weapons stockpiled by survivalist nutcase Ollie Monk; even the suspicious activity inside the old mental hospital. But it’s not until Hurricane Quentin hits the coast-and all hell breaks loose-that Sheriff Kaufman is able to piece together the puzzle that’s plagued his community. Homeless people have been infected with a biological weapon for the government. Rabid subjects have escaped into the storm, spreading violence, madness, and contagion throughout the county. And the only thing that can stop this large-scale disaster is a small-town cop who’s just crazy enough to try… When everything goes to hell, there’s only one place to find peace: In the eye of the storm.
#6. Survivors:
They were told to prepare for the worst. The storm of the century, Hurricane Quentin. But nothing could prepare the citizens of Humboldt County for the shocking chain of events that would touch everyone in its path. In a secret government lab, a biological weapon has been injected into homeless test subjects and unleashed upon the world. A band of survivalists have unwittinglyexposed themselves to this man-made infection that turns them into rabid killing machines. In homes across the coast, mothers, fathers, and children struggle to stay alive while a few brave souls-virologist Fara McManus, blogger Ivan Renner, and Sheriff Mitch Kaufman-will risk more than their lives…in what could be humanity’s last stand. Many will fall prey to the chaos. Because when terror hits the fan, there is no shelter from the storm.
