Overview: Stephanie Sterling (1976-) was born in Lexington, Kentucky where she was raised by a family full of dreamers. Her first work, a poem called "Dandelion" was published on her uncle’s dot-matrix printer when she was four years old.
In Middle School, Sterling progressed to writing collaborative stories with her best friends Sarah and Kelly about hooking up with members of the band "INXS".
Before committing to her dream of writing, Stephanie attended law school and then worked for ten years as a lawyer. A trip to Scotland with her former husband re-ignited her creative spark. After a visit to Eilean Donan Castle (Scotland’s most photographed), the stories of Clan MacRae began to take shape.
