5. Tolerance
As a blizzard descends upon them, Raven Winter finds herself a captive of Hector, the cat mutant. To survive, she goes along with his belief she is a witch, yet she is always on the lookout for ways to escape.
With Raven missing, Matthew joins forces with Willow and Blaze on a quest to find another human clan to assist them in saving Mouse from the Great Cave. As the storm threatens to destroy them, they struggle to survive the journey only to realize learning to rely on each other is their greatest challenge.
6. Revelation
Raven Winter and Kit journey with Hector to return to his home in the realm of the cat mutants in the hopes Hector can see his father before the old king dies. Raven expects to trade her assistance for weapons to go save the little girl who is being kept in the Great Cave.
Matthew, held prisoner as an enemy to the clan beside the lake, bargains for his life while Willow and Blaze work to protect him. Using his knowledge and skill, Matthew must convince these new people to allow him to save not only his life but those of others who need him.
7. Undaunted
While Raven negotiates with the cat mutants to find a way to save the little girl from the Great Cave, Kit is searching the palace, only to oversee something she wishes she had not. In the end, their last option is to flee to the most dangerous place.
Matthew continues his quest to be reunited with the woman he cannot stop thinking about, Raven Winter. As he battles against adversaries both large and small his greatest challenge is against Blaze, the man Matthew must rely on to get what Matthew wants.
8. Concurrence
While Raven continues to find a way to keep The Duke at bay, her friends must prove their worth. Meanwhile, Willow uses force to find a way to save the little girl being held by The Creator.
