Overview: Grant and Lucy Smith have been a couple since their teenage years and now are starting their lives as a newly married couple. They have overcome the odds to maintain their love for one another despite obstacles that they have faced. After the rings are on their finger and vows have been exchanged, they set out to live a happily ever after life. However, the newlyweds get a rude awakening about the difficulties of married life. The once devoted and loving Lucy becomes career obsessed and does not see the valuable time she is taking away from her family. Grant begins feeling ignored and neglected by his wife and ultimately gives in to temptation, bringing forth dire consequences.
