Overview: David McKean (born 29 December 1963) is an English illustrator, photographer, comic book artist, graphic designer, filmmaker and musician. His work incorporates drawing, painting, photography, collage, found objects, digital art and sculpture. McKean’s projects include the films MirrorMask, The Gospel of Us and Luna and illustrating books by authors such as Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, David Almond, Heston Blumenthal, Ray Bradbury, John Cale, Richard Dawkins, Stephen King and S.F. Said, among others.
