Overview: Berkeley Livingston was born on November 26, 1909 in Chicago, Illinois, and began to publish work of genre interest with “I’ll Be There With Music” in the June 1943 issue of Fantastic Adventures; eventually publishing almost ninety stories in that magazine, as well as Amazing Stories, Mammoth Detective and Mammoth Western and others. He wrote under his own name, Burt B. Liston, B.E. Liston and Lester Barclay; he also contributed work under the house names Alexander Blade and Morris J. Steele.
Livingston’s only book was Meteor of Death (1954).
Berkeley Livingston died on February 28, 1975 in San Diego, California.
