Overview: When CJ Thompson returns home from the war, all he wants is peace. The town sheriff wants him to track down a fugitive and one look at the guy’s photo tells CJ this man is going to cause trouble for him. There are things people in his hometown don’t know about CJ, but the truth is getting out. When CJ captures the fugitive, Jesse Evans, they find out that they have a lot of things in common. Jesse’s into bondage and CJ likes to bring out those ties & ropes. But they are in a rural, backwoods town where people think they’re perverts just because they’re gay and living together. Hmm. If they only knew! These two were in the Army and they just got back from the war. They don’t want to fight against the hatred in their town but they will fight to stay together. Even though blood, sweat and tears are common in war, they don’t belong in a peaceful small town. But Hickory Grove is no longer peaceful and it’s CJ Thompson’s fault. The people don’t want gays in their town and they’re taking extreme measures to remove them to the point where it’s becoming dangerous for the two soldiers to remain there. CJ was born and raised in Hickory Grove. He doesn’t want to leave. Ever since Jesse left Afghanistan, he’s been traveling with a restless heart and he wants to stay. They fought to protect the freedom the people hold so dear but no one wants to extend that freedom to these two men who fought to preserve it. When a group of young men cross the line, Sergeant Jesse Evans has had enough and he comes up with a plan to strike back.
