7. Broken Road: Sometimes forgiveness can be hard . . . But not doing it can just make things worse. "I’ve heard the stories, seen the lives they touch but I could never have imagined that they’d be here to save mine. These new days of peace created some unsettling alliances in a very different part of the world where they found me. I was to be wed forcefully to the Hintin Prince and feared the rest of my life but they saved me from it, took me away. I was eternally grateful but their existence in my life only caused emotional decisions and separation in theirs. It was never my intention. I’ve learned how to trust again and hoped they could too. Their future together is depending on it as they get ready to add to their already great family." – Meg
8. New Roots: Where thoughts of losing someone you love exist . . . A stubborn determination is your only sense. "Separation becomes the enemy of hope when a loved one has gone away but fear of them never returning forces some to revert to a mind of war; willing to fight for what’s theirs even if they have to do it alone. The day we could see Troy again was joyous but his homecoming is what torn him from us. His mind bended to the breaking point and to get it all back, he would have to endure the unthinkable and I would have to do it. His healing process began but time passed and our southern trip was reinstated and we had to leave again to fulfill our duty. It was a long wait for our wives and I know they had so many fears through it but by the time we made it back is the time they almost lost hope in turning around one of those fears. Hope was not gone and the dawn rose with a new journey." – Zayden
10. Blooming Life: Patients can sometimes be a tiresome fiend but if it’s held out long enough, the rewards can last a life time. "Growing up seemed endless. We no longer wanted to be children, stuck in this void of never getting a say. We wanted to be men; I wanted to be—with her. For the two of us, we spend four years trying to see each other but something always prevents it; something always stops us. It was the way of being children. We never got to decide. I grow tired and my life changes. All the corrupt stages of my gifts hit me all at once and I have to learn control before the worst happens. It’s all this mindless waiting that’s at fault. Even our step into adulthood will be getting pushed back even though our age will say we’ve finally made it. It’s because our mothers will be gone—for a year but I guess I shouldn’t be so sad. They’ll be training their successors in the line of Assassins and then I’ll finally have her—indefinitely." – Seth
