1. Ash

After a summer spent laboring at an archaeological dig, Calier is looking forward to returning to his city, his family and his post as a professor at the university. However, his worst fears are realized as he witnesses the brutal destruction of the city by a mysterious invading army.
Thrust into a confusing new world of death, carnage and war, Calier must navigate the enemy infested streets of the city he calls home. Separated from his loved ones and with no knowledge of their survival, Calier is forced to make the impossible decision of leaving them in fate’s hand. His fate lies along another road. A road that leads out of the city and into the beautiful, but wild Aerean wilderness.

2. Sojourners
The once peaceful world of Aereas has been thrown into chaos and war by a mysterious invading army. Having escaped from his burning city, Calier collects a band of survivors and attempts to lead them to safety.
With few options, the group of sojourners begins a journey across the wild plains of their home world. Their destination lies on the other side of a dangerous forest known to harbor wild beasts.
Terror also comes from the sky as black aircraft search the land looking for those who escaped the initial bombardment. Calier must rely on his knowledge of history and his friends in order to stay alive and ultimately reunite what is left of his people.
