Overview: As a child, my mother would let me stay up late on Saturday nights and watch Fantasy Island. I loved the show and thirty years later some of the episodes are still vivid in my mind. I loved the mystery of it. How I, and the people whose fantasy Mr. Roarke was granting, never knew what to expect. I especially remember the creep factor of some of the shows. That sinister, spin tingling feeling I experienced while watching some of the episodes late at night. I was never really quite sure who Roarke was or how he managed to do the things he did. It was all so magical, thrilling, and most of all, exciting. I was never bored watching Fantasy Island because I never knew what to expect, and never could predict the ending.
I hope to bring that same sense of mystery and excitment to my Fantasy Island series. The maxim "Be careful what you wish for" definitely applies in these books. Whether the story is erotic, humorous, sweet, or suspenseful, all will end happily and hopefully leave you saying, "I didn’t expect that to happen."
