Overview: I live in the teeny, tiny town of Taylor, NY, (Alliteration Alert!) though my mailing address is Cincinnatus, my telephone exchange is Truxton and I pay taxes and vote in Cuyler. All of these are at least in the same rural county in the southern hills of New York State; Cortland County. There are more cattle than people here. The nearest “big” cities are Syracuse and Binghamton and they are an hour away, in different directions, and not really all that big by most standards, though they both seem humongous to me. I look out my window to see rolling, green, thickly forested hills, wildflower laden meadows and wide open blue, blue skies. My road is barely paved. The nearest neighboring place is a 700 acre dairy farm.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Fairytale: Brigit Malone can paint anything she sees, and uses that skill to get herself and her best friend, homeless Razor Face Malone off the streets. Then an old enemy kidnaps Raze and demands Brigit forge a privately owned painting, switch the fake for the original, and deliver it.
That painting is the prize possession of Adam Reid, who once glimpsed the fantastical images it holds in a childhood memory he now considers a hallucination.
But the images in the painting are actually a message from the twin sister Brigit doesn’t know she has; a message calling her back to the enchanted kingdom of Rush, where the two half-fay twins are destined to put down the usurping Dark Prince Tristan and restore peace to their homeland far, far away.
Forever Enchanted: In a world of cars and shopping malls, Bridin sells New Age trinkets–and waits for the man who can help her return home to an enchanted kingdom called Rush. She meets a rugged stranger, who is actually Tristan, the usurper who stole her kingdom. Tristan, deposed by his brother, has escaped into the mortal realm determined to win and wed Bridin–for only the magic of their passion can save their enchanted homeland.
