Now she is captain of a motley crew of humans, goblins, elves, and orcs. Sounds great, except everyone else wanted her head on a platter. Yeah, it was the whole pirate captain thing.
Having survived a naval ambush, Tara sails into the freeport of Amana for repairs to her ship. Then she and fellow pirate Tawni head out for a girls’ night of men and ale, not necessarily in that order. Only things get complicated when they decide to have a little adventure when they learn of an enemy possessing a fabulous jewel called the Eye of the Goddess. Yeah, it goes from bad to worse real fast, but that’s never stopped Tara.
