Overview: Never mess with a geologist.

Geologists are a different breed. They look at earth history through the prism of time. They are obsessed by time, data and facts. Ron Walker is a geologist, working on the far side of the world. When his best friend, Stephen, is killed in a suspicious car crash back home, he returns to investigate. He needs to know the facts.

Walker discovers that this was no accident. A huge timber company is experimenting with genetic engineering and their experiments are somehow related to Stephen’s death. Genetic engineering is messing with geologic time and that means that they are entering Ron Walker’s space. That’s a really bad idea.

Walker is not easily intimidated. The timber company has no idea how far Ron Walker will go to stop them. Walker isn’t sure either, but he’s obsessed. He knows it will get ugly. He knows it will be dangerous and he fears it could lead to death.

Walker will do whatever it takes to avoid the earth’s ultimate nightmare. Extinction.
