Book 1: Exodus of the Phoenix
Exodus of The Phoenix is an interesting take on man seeking to go beyond its solar system. For unexplained reason, an alien species dubbed "Screen" has taken upon itself to force humanity to remain close to Earth. Any vessel that goes beyond Mars is attacked and destroyed. Yet, humanity continues to dream of reaching for the stars, and a dedicated group of humans try to make this a reality through Project Exodus.
Book 2: Phoenix Among the Stars
Captain John Roberts and Commander Julie Olson are back. The first question on everyone’s mind is which of the star systems out there to explore in the search for the Screen (and the advancement of science). In their exploration, they come across a mysterious, disabled ship. It’s not Screen, so they take it aboard to have the first face-to-face alien encounter. The alien, Drix, turns out to be a lot friendlier than the Screen. Matter of fact, the Screen are his enemy too and the enemy of pretty much everyone as far as he knows. Drix, in return for the human hospitality, shares a mysterious device called the Micron, which implants itself in the brain and allows any being to understand spoken and written languages. He also has a knack for computers so he manages to fix a downed system and upgrade other ones.
Book3: Phoenix in Chaos
Led by former cadets John Roberts and Julie Olson, the crew discover that humanity isn’t the only race the Screen has interfered with. But as they learn more about the Screen, dissension within the crew and secrets about the EXODUS Project threatens to derail the mission. Can John remain focused on the mission, or will his enemies and secrets of the PHOENIX break him?
Who is actively sabotaging Phoenix’s mission? Who is actively recruiting dissidents against the young captain? The author slowly but steadily unravels the mystery of the traitor on board the ship.
Book 4: Fury of the Phoenix
Nearly destroyed by the Screen in a deadly encounter, PHOENIX is now stranded in an alien star system as both the remaining crew and alien alliance members attempt to repair her. But the attack not only nearly destroyed the ship, but had a devastating impact on John Roberts. Learning of secrets about his past as well as losing those close to him, can John bring the crew together to finish what they started, or will he sacrifice them in a quest for revenge?
