Reunion (#5)
Ericka Stone has spent the most glorious time with Greg’s family. They’d invited her into their home; they’d made her feel like family, now that was going to end earlier than expected. Family was something that she always dreamed of, but never had. Now even the enjoyment of Greg’s family was gone.
Greg Kane could tell that Ericka had enjoyed herself with his family, but when Tito showed up with information about her past the spell was suddenly broken. He would like to blame Tito for the entire disruption, but that wouldn’t be fair. Tito’s father was the one to blame. He planned to send them back on the hunt for Charles North.
Charles proves to be elusive, and instead of sending Ericka home, Greg convinces her not to leave before the reunion. When tragedy after tragedy strikes, he realizes he may have made a mistake. If they lived long enough to survive the reunion, things would be different, one way or another.
