Now that Elizabeth is working full time for The Herald, the town’s newspaper, it’s her job to cover the story, and she soon realizes that there is more going on than meets the eye. Tensions are high as the complaints come rolling in about the noise, and soon she finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation.
With a dead body involved, Elizabeth now seems to be spending more time with the police, including her handsome ex-boyfriend, Sergeant James Webster. He only wants to focus on the case, but he’s started showing up in her dreams again. Will this put a strain on her new relationship?
Black Bridge has more than its fair share of secrets, and now its Elizabeth’s job to shine a light on them to catch a killer. Everyone has skeletons in their closet in this town, but one person also has a murder weapon in there.
