Overview: Timmorn Yellow-Eyes. Rahnee the She-Wolf. Mantricker. Bearclaw. For thousands of years, these and others led the feral Wolfrider tribe of elves. For generations, their Holt was a secluded forest haven, a place of refuge hidden away from the primitive humans who also roamed the untamed land. An uneasy truce existed between the two ancient enemies until one day, driven by unknown dread, the humans invaded and torched the elves’ woodland and destroyed their sacred Father Tree. Now Cutter, son of Bearclaw and Blood of Ten Chiefs, must lead his small but gallant band in a search for a new home, a place where legends say other elves live in peace and safety. But the Wolfriders know nothing of the world beyond the boundaries of the fire-ravaged forest. Their quest will test them sorely. They will descend deep into the caverns of King Greymung and his brutish troll minions.
