Overview: K.C. Roy’s journey as an author is a remarkable tale of resilience, passion, and determination. 1. Sara’s Fear – At 16, my biggest problem should be just fitting in. Or, in my case not standing out. It shouldn’t be people trying to murder me, family secrets and ancient super powers!
My nightmares are getting worse, some psycho is trying to kill me, my only friend decides he loves me, and my dog isn’t real. I can’t begin to explain that last one. Oh yeah, it turns out my entire life is a lie and I have powers that will kill me.
In a few short days, Sara’s life is turned upside down and given a rough shake. She finds out her parents, Bobby, her teachers and even her dog aren’t what they appear to be. Now on the run, the family must protect Sara from an unknown assassin. If this weren’t bad enough, she’s inherited a power that could end up killing her before the assassin does. Sara’s family races for answers while she tries to get control of her powers before they kill her instead.
2. Sara’s Anger – The group has been attacked and it’s not what they expected. An individual out of storybooks and myth has attacked and scattered the group. The Grey. The boogeyman of the elemental world. They rank with dragons, unicorns and Elvis conspiracy theories. There are a lot of stories but never any proof. Now there is.
They escaped the encounter but at a price. Not everyone makes it. Do they continue to run or did their problem take care of itself? They are no closer to answers than they were before. Sara’s decided she doesn’t want answers. She wants revenge.
