Overview: If more story is what you’re looking for from infamous alpha dude Duke Nukem, you’re in luck. Duke’s getting his own comic book mini-series courtesy of IDW Publishing, the same folks responsible for Mr. Nukem’s four-colour adventure in the Duke Nukem Forever “Balls of Steel” Edition.
Coming this July is Duke Nukem: Glorious Bastard, a Duke-starring, time-traveling adventure that sends the venerable action hero back to the World War II era. The comic’s writer, Tom Waltz, tells Comic Book Resources that Duke is asked by a former French Resistance operative to travel back to 1945 to ensure an Allied victory against Nazi and/or aliens.
