WW2. 1943. The secretive SS Division known as the Ahenerbe continue to conduct their expeditions in the mountains all around the region. They know that there is a secret order of monks who protect the entrance into the underground tunnel systems that lead into Inner earth. Their search to find them continues. The Special Operations Executive (British Intelligence) learns that the Nazis are in the Himalayas searching for something of great importance and put a climbing team together led by a New Zealand female by the name of Mere Dargaville. At a great danger to herself, and to the rest of the team they venture into the mountains risking everything to discover what is so important to their enemy. With the help of the Nepalese Sherpas and Ghurka soldiers, SOE Agent Mere Dargaville locates the cave system and sends down a team of explorers to navigate it. The big problem is that they do not return. Neither do the Nazis who seem to have left everything on the surface abandoned. It’s all a big mystery to Agent Dargaville as she tries to figure out what’s going on.

Nancy Wake is a secret agent during World War Two for the British Intelligence unit that is called the Special Operations Executive. Currently working in France to report on the activities of the Nazi’s, Nancy attempts to find other operatives in the circuit that she had put together with the help of Captain Garrow and his men from the French Resistance. She is not aware that her circuit of secret agents who assist in helping escaped British POW’s get back to England has been compromised and that Daniele LeClair is being interrogated by the Gestapo after her mother is executed in front of her. When Nancy Wake returns to the forest where Captain Garrow resides she informs him that the people she went to see are no longer there and that new plans have to be made to help her get back to London.

When the order from SOE in London gets to Danielle it instructs her to come back to their headquarters immediately. She is torn apart when her mother refuses to come with her to the UK. Knowing that she will not see her mother again until after the war, Danielle leaves her home brokenhearted. After saying their goodbyes to Brigette, they leave through a secret tunnel system that’s connected to the secret room. Cautiously the treo make their way out of town through the passageways only a few locals know about. Once out of the sewer system the group then start making their way towards their extraction point deep in the mountains hoping to rendezvous with the french resistance who live out there. Later in the story word gets out that a massive escape has taken place at the nearby POW camp. Himmler is enraged. With new orders the Gestapo become hell bent on executing any escaped prisoner that they find as well as any person who tires to help them in any way. The local forests are soon full of Nazi hunter forces as they try to locate people that shouldn’t be in the area. It makes life extremely hard for those trying to get out of the country.
