Overview: Pete Aldin is an Australian-based writer and member of the Australian Horror Writers Association. He is the author of the novels Black Marks and Doomsday’s Child, and a contributing author to multiple anthologies. His story "D is for Death" (from Poise and Pen’s C is for Chimera anthology) was shortlisted for a 2017 Australian Shadows Award. His professional life has included empowering people with disabilities, helping professionals shape their career and work-life balance, working with migrants and with youth, as well as designing courses and courseware for training companies. He follows Chelsea FC in the English Premier League. He is a mad fan of Breaking Bad and the Arkady Renko series of detective novels.

Doomsday’s Child (Book 1)
Elliot is alive. Billions are dead. Millions more are a little bit of both. Former US Army Ranger Elliot is used to doing things the hard way.
